NGL Logistics Segment
Our natural gas liquid (NGL) transportation assets consist of our wholly-owned approximately 68-mile Seabreeze and 39-mile Wilbreeze intrastate NGL pipelines located in Texas and a 45% non-operated interest in the approximately 317-mile Black Lake interstate NGL pipeline located in Louisiana and Texas. These NGL pipelines transport mixed NGLs from natural gas processing plants to fractionation facilities, a petrochemical plant and an underground NGL storage facility. In total, our NGL transportation business has 73 MBbls/d of throughput capacity.
Seabreeze Pipeline
The Seabreeze pipeline delivers an NGL mix from surrounding gas plants and a connecting NGL line to the Formosa Point Comfort Chemical Complex and the Texas Brine Salt Dome storage facility. Of the seven processing plants that produce NGLs that flow into Seabreeze pipeline, three are owned by DCP Midstream, the parent of our General Partner.
Wilbreeze Pipeline
We constructed the Wilbreeze pipeline in 2006 to deliver NGLs from a DCP Midstream plant dedicated under a long-term agreement. Wilbreeze delivers NGLs to our Seabreeze pipeline.
Black Lake Pipeline
We own a 45% non-operated interest in Black Lake Pipeline Company, which owns the FERC-regulated Black Lake pipeline. The Black Lake pipeline was constructed in 1967 and delivers NGLs from processing plants in northern Louisiana and southeastern Texas to fractionation plants at Mont Belvieu on the Texas Gulf Coast. Black Lake pipeline receives NGLs from three processing plants in northern Louisiana, including our Minden gas plant, as well as from the Jasper pipeline in Texas.
